Yey I'm updating after a long time! There's not much to know anyway... School kept me away from the internet. Milenyo basically downgraded me.. I don't watch tv, I hardly go online, I don't even listen to the radio.. In short, I'm outdated! Bwahaha.
And just like Abs, I'm content and happy right now. :)
Reg, I did not shift. I had my shifting form ready, and assumed that I was bound to shift.. But the results weren't even out.. and when it came out, wow! I passed!! :D
Jihan, sembreak's gonna be over soon, we still haven't done the marathon! And I don't have my copy with me...

Before, I was thinking of quitting the varsity... Now, I'll stay for the second sem. I don't want to attend PE anyway.
I have a stable group of friends in school, and I'm happy. ^____^ They make me happy...
Right now, physically my back's broken. Something there's broken.. haha! My spine? My rib... I feel like a grandma! Too much lay-ups? Not enough calcium? Been drinking milk and taking calcium pills... I think I'm gonna get a heart attack at a young age. My heart feels constricted. I don't care.. I like food! Food tastes good! Juicy burgers, greasy fries! Turkey legs and raw fish eyes!
I don't know what new music is out.. I like Still Searching though. I also don't know what nice movie to watch.. Did I mention I'm very outdated? Except for Lost and Prison Break.. Haha!
Oh I have to write an article! I forgot about that.. I don't know what to write. I'm not a journalist, I'm an ACCOUNTING student!! Can I gloat? We used to be 30+, now we're down to 10! Mwahaha!! All the while attending all varsity practices and games... Oh yeah, I bought myself a new ball, a gift for myself for passing the test.
And wow! Abs! Grabe naman how he pushes for practice! But I don't mind. At least my fingers don't get rusted up... When he asks how's my skill, I get conscious about it. Haha! Sayang lang din kasi if I don't practice... and it's the way to go! I won't move unless someone pushes me.. Just the same when going out, I'll stay home unless you bug me to go! hehehe...
Anyway, maybe I'll update later. Gotta go somewhere with my mom...
EDIT:I'm back from the woodrose bazaar.. nothing much. but omg... has it been that long?? Karen, so sorry I didn't recognize you!! Hahahaha, I was nakatunganga for like, 5 seconds! Yihee, maybe it's the look for prom.
I probably won't recognize some of our batchmates. I'm that ignorant I guess. So what else is new? Our house is now green and white. The inside is candy pink. My room is still not a room... I have nowhere to make tambay... Unless I'm the one playing ps2 since it was placed in my room. I played my first game of Sims this morning! In ps2.. haven't played ps2 in ages.
I'm going to a debut tonight... Smart Casual. buti na lang. That's all for now. Got nothing else to say... |

Yet another MTV "reality" show couple is calling it quits. Travis Barker of Blink-182 has filed for divorce from his "beauty queen"/crappy actress/golddigger wife, Shanna Moakler after less than two years of marriage. They have two kids together, Landon (2 yrs.) and Alabama (8 mos.). Shanna also has a daughter, Atiana (7 yrs.) whose baby daddy is boxer, Oscar De La Hoya.
Most of you are probably wondering who the hell these people are. They starred in a show called "Meet the Barkers" which I admit I watched. Not because I liked it, but because these people are so unlikeable and stupid, I just couldn't stop watching. No need to watch the reruns - here's the lowdown. In their time with the couple, MTV caught about 12,000 hours of Shanna sleeping all day while the nanny took care of her kids. When he wasn't on tour, her emaciated, dirty snake/rat looking husband-thing, Travis Barker, would show up. His eyes were usually red and glazed over from what must have been the best weed ever. Shanna would complain about Travis never being home, they'd call each other stupid pet names like "Woofa Oofa," Shanna couldn't/wouldn't cook, Shanna would spend money, they'd have sex we couldn't watch, they had the most retarded conversations ever, they got drunk a lot, Travis would go to work and Shanna went back to sleep again until Travis came home. And that was just the first season! Exciting, right?! So it was pretty much just like "Newlyweds," only dumber and with smaller boobs. Travis Barker is pretty much what Nick Lachey would look like if you deflated him and ran him through the wood chipper a couple times. Shanna Moakler is what Jessica Simpson would look like if she didn't have a penis.

Shit man, I'm traumatized! last night, I dreamt Vince Vaughn was about to rape me! He's so ugly! It's so gross! Haha! Someone walked in the room before he could shoot. mwahaha. it's so gross, I could puke! I shouldn't have watched the Break-Up.
In another dream, I was a mutant who could fly (without wings or anything). All those who could fly were wanted, I don't know why. I flew to a height where I thought I could evade authorities. But no! Naveen Andrews shot me! What a horrible night with those two dreams... |

As many as 50 percent of people of Asian descent experience a flushed complexion after drinking alcohol. Alcohol flush reaction, the more technical name, describes the body's inability to break down ingested alcohol completely. You and others like you have an inactive enzyme, aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2), which is normally responsible for breaking down acetaldehyde, a byproduct of the metabolism of alcohol. Acetaldehyde is a toxin and if your body can't break it down, it accumulates and causes flushing. Other symptoms you might experience include dizziness, nausea, headaches, and an increased pulse.
Scientists don't know why the enzyme is inactive primarily in people of Asian descent, but it is genetic and can be passed on by either or both parents. Some researchers find that the presence of the mutation can help account for the lower levels of alcoholism in Asian communities, since many of the symptoms of alcohol flush reaction discourage people from drinking. There is some evidence that ALDH2 is inactive in higher than average levels in people of Jewish descent as well.
Because it's genetic, there isn't much you can do to prevent your red face. Tolerance levels and the severity of flushing and other symptoms vary from individual to individual, so you might want to test how much alcohol it takes before your rosiness becomes noticeable.
There is some suspicion that a build up of acetaldehyde can cause cancer, but more research needs to be done before a definitive answer can be given. Otherwise, there are no known long-term health consequences resulting from the alcohol flush reaction.

i stayed up until 12 midnight answering one stupid homework. i was on my ass for 4 hours trying to get it balanced and shit like that. the paper is too big for my desk. then i had to do note cards and study for a long test but i was too dizzy to continue so i slept. then putang ina walang pasok pala!! nagising pa ako ng 6am!! fuck..
i get a text message saying "please pray for our country's safety." i check the news and i'm not worried for my safety. i'm wrorried for the WWE wrestlers' safety!! hahahaha. then there's that news on star newspaper about a pinoy reporter's dispute with a WWE chief officer. putangina niya. hahaha.
